This training will offer a new approach to tackling spelling: analysing spelling errors.

What can you can expect from the training?

The half-day training session will look at;

  • the research around what works for spelling, with reference to working memory.
  • why this particular area of literacy is so problematic.
  • how to identify patterns of spelling errors
  • the role of metacognition in spelling and
  • how to engage students in self-monitoring.

This training will offer a new approach to tackling spelling: analysing spelling errors.

Audience: SENCos, Inclusion Managers, Teachers, TAs, Learning Mentors, Parents

Training led by: Suzanne Murray
Suzanne is a dyslexia tutor, trainer and assessor. She is a passionate advocate for dyslexic strengths, believing in high expectations and attainment for all pupils.
