This training will offer a new approach to tackling spelling: analysing spelling errors.
What can you can expect from the training?
The half-day training session will look at;
- the research around what works for spelling, with reference to working memory.
- why this particular area of literacy is so problematic.
- how to identify patterns of spelling errors
- the role of metacognition in spelling and
- how to engage students in self-monitoring.

Training led by: Suzanne Murray
Suzanne is a dyslexia tutor, trainer and assessor. She is a passionate advocate for dyslexic strengths, believing in high expectations and attainment for all pupils.
