Supporting Parents and Carers of Neurodiverse Children: Free Online Sessions for 2026

These sessions are designed for parents and carers of children who are neurodiverse, whether they already have a diagnosis or are awaiting assessment. The programme aims to empower families with practical understanding and strategies to better support their children’s needs at home and in everyday life.

What the sessions cover

Each session focuses on a key area commonly identified by families as challenging, offering guidance, reassurance and evidence-informed approaches from experienced practitioners:

  • Wednesday 28 January, 6:00–7:00pm
Supporting you to support your child through shutdown, meltdown and crisis

  • Wednesday 25 February, 6:00–7:00pm
Supporting you and your child with emotional and sensory regulation

  • Wednesday 25 March, 6:00–7:00pm
Supporting you and your child with sleep

The sessions are interactive, accessible, and designed to be supportive rather than clinical, recognising the real-life experiences of families.

Who should attend?

  • Parents and carers of neurodiverse children

  • Families whose children have a diagnosis or are awaiting assessment

  • Anyone seeking greater understanding of emotional regulation, sensory needs, behaviour, and sleep challenges
