In this workshop we will explore:

  • What is working memory?
  • How do difficulties with working memory impact on learning?
  • How does working memory link to what scientists understand of other aspects of memory?
  • How can we identify children with poor working memory in the classroom from their behaviours?
  • How do working memory difficulties impact on cognitive load and successful outcomes.
  • Practical strategies to support children with poor working memory.

Training led by: Suzanne Murray
Suzanne is a dyslexia tutor, trainer and assessor. She is a passionate advocate for dyslexic strengths, believing in high expectations and attainment for all pupils.
